Market Research, Strategy & Services at Wodonga TAFE is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of all marketing strategies and activities for the Institute. MRSS controls the use of the Institute's corporate image, advertising, marketing database, general promotion and information services, co-ordination of public relations activities, preparation of corporate print material, and co-ordination of official events. Staffed by a dedicated team of Marketing, Market Research and Public Relations professionals, MRSS is the primary contact for all Institute sponsorships, and in conjunction with other Institute departments, disseminates course and customer information, as well as coordinating school visits and Tertiary Information Service (TIS) tours. The Research element of MRSS works both on internal and external projects for Wodonga TAFE to enhance the effective operation of the Institute and enable intelligent planning for the future. Undertaking collaborative commercial projects wherever possible, research is conducted on behalf of industry partners and the wider community gathering market intelligence to deliver a quality range of professional services and results. This Research arm supports and resources the activities of the Institute on strategic, operational and structural planning, advice and support relating to training systems and packages, courses, staff and student assessment options as well as measuring and reporting project results. It is also involved in a number of qualitative and quantitative research projects involving business partners in industry, local government and the health and education sectors.
