Children's Workshops

Kids on Campus provides ongoing workshops for a number of interest areas. These workshops are run on various days, but allow for children to participate in programs in which they have an innate interest. The workshops are only one small aspect to our overall daily programmes that offer a multitude of stimulating and challenging experiences, resources and equipment for free choice exploration and discovery.

The workshops are:

  • Kids in the kitchen  Children are involved in ongoing cooking projects every Tuesday morning.
  • Little rhythm n moves  Children have the opportunity to be involved in music and movement experiences through a workshop format. These workshops are run on Wednesday mornings.
  • Little art works  Children participate in a visual arts workshop every Thursday morning.
  • Little green thumbs  Children have created a vegetable garden throughout the year. Children are involved in planting, watering, weeding, maintaining and harvesting. The vegetables are then used in our 'Kids in the kitchen' workshops.
