Wodonga TAFE enjoys partnerships with many organisations – educational, industrial, business, environmental, social, health and community allowing us to be responsive to the region’s education and training needs. We’re an active supporter of the North East Local Learning and Employment Network (NELLEN), the Continuing Education Centre (Albury Wodonga) and the Learning City Initiative.
We have strong links with arts and community groups through our sponsorship of a number of events including
- City of Wodonga Carols by Candlelight
- Man from Snowy River Festival ‘Clancy’s Choice’ poetry prize
- Special Kids Christmas Party
- Learning Cities Festival
- Rotary Club of Albury ‘Circus Quirkus’ (sponsorship of 20 children with special needs)
- Lions Club of Albury ‘Festival of Magic’
- Hothouse Theatre
- The Flying Fruit Fly Circus.

Wodonga TAFE is involved with several other partnership programs including
- The Hospitality on Wheels Trailer and Tallangatta Secondary College.
This very exciting initiative brings Hospitality Training to smaller secondary colleges. The training takes literally a fully equipped commercial kitchen out to schools, fitted within a semi trailer.
- Business Communication and Service Industries and STAR FM. Establishment of the broadcasting studio for students in the Certificate IV in Broadcasting Radio. The studio also has been used for students in the Certificates in General Education for Adults program.
- Water Land and Food and North East Catchment Management Authority. The development of training resources for best practice in native seed collection.
- Motorsports Training Australia and the Motorsports Industry.The Institute has developed the new Automotive Training Package that is the qualification for the industry. The Victorian Government Specialist Centre – Motorsports Training Australia is the only specialist centre for motorsports training in Australia.
- Motorsports Training Australia and the YWCA. The On Track Go Kart project targets disadvantaged and disengaged young people who have dropped out of school. The project works towards developing application and interview skills.
- Learner Services and local secondary schools, mental health providers and employment networks involved in The Building Bridges Program.
