Jason Carrozza (Griffith)

Certificate III in Furniture Making (Cabinet Making)

Jason Carrozza

‘After completing Year 10 at school, I was lucky enough to obtain an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker. For the last 3 years, my training has taken place at Wodonga TAFE as I completed my apprenticeship by undertaking block release. I have loved using timber since a young age and timber studies was my favourite subject at school. I wanted a career where I was able to make things using my hands and cabinet making is great. I now have the skills to undertake various projects using wood.My best achievement at TAFE has been designing and constructing my own pool table project. The course is great because of the hands on focus rather than bookwork. I have enjoyed working on the student projects with fantastic support form the TAFE teachers.’
