Yoshiki Shibahara (Japan)

Diploma of Hospitality Management

Yoshiki Shibahara

‘I am from Japan and moved to Australia last year to study commercial cookery at TAFE WA. I enjoyed my course and decided to continue at TAFE and in 2006 enrolled in a Diploma of Hospitality Management at Wodonga TAFE. My career goal is to stay in Australia and obtain employment in a resort hotel in Queensland, where I can pursue my dream of obtaining a management position. My previous work history has given me skills in hospitality working as a cook, waiter and at reception. The most enjoyable aspect of the course has been the hands on practical classes conducted in the TAFE training restaurant, The Valleys.’
