Austudy

While studying at Wodonga TAFE you may be eligible for financial assistance from the Australian Government.  Always check when enrolling if you should apply for, or are eligible for Austudy, Abstudy or a Youth Allowance.  It may make a big difference.

Austudy provides support for full time students and New Apprentices (apprentices or trainees).

You may be eligible for Austudy if

  • you are a full-time student or New Apprentice (apprentice or trainee) aged 25 and over.  (New Apprentices will need a current Australian Government registration identification number).
  • you are undertaking an ‘approved’ course at an approved institution like Wodonga TAFE.
  • you are a permanent Australian resident
  • you have lived in Australia for a total of two years (or more).

Contact Centrelink on 13 1021 for more information, or staff in Learner Services at Wodonga TAFE will be able to give you more information and advice about applying for Austudy.

Contact Learner Services by phone on (02) 6055 6606 or email ls@wodonga.tafe.edu.au
