The LIRNspace

The Learning Innovation and Resources Nexus, LIRNspace, gives current students and staff access to a learning environment unequalled in regional Australia.

It provides our students and teachers with over 45 study computers, access to software, cost-effective colour A4 and A3 printing, large format printing, scanning, photocopying, food and drink machines and a spacious study area which includes discussion tables.

The LIRNspace also includes the Show Room (a presentation room with overhead projector, seating and sound system), four computer rooms for booked classes with 10 to 24 computers, access to a Help Desk for enquiries or problems or payments, and an after hours access room with 18 computers (E Street) which is also open on weekends (students require an access card).

LIRNspaceThe LIRNspace Gallery and E Street are available for students throughout the day on a drop-in basis - no bookings required - but the space can be booked by teachers for small to large groups, with overflow rooms in place for drop-in students.

The ICT Help Desk is open during business hours only, and is not available for purchases or enquiries after 7pm weekdays (5pm on Fridays) or on weekends. However, if students have already purchased an access card to access E Street after hours, there is a security telephone in the room to ring Security if required.

For enquiries on the software available in LIRNspace, how to access after hours, how to use equipment in the LIRNspace, LIRNspace hours,
lost-n-found, or general LIRNspace enquiries, please ask at the ICT Help Desk in the LIRNspace, Upper Building A.
